A police compound in Ankara was struck by rockets on Friday night.

Interior Minister Muammer Guler said that two rockets hit the directorate in the suburb of Dikmen in the Turkish capital. The BBC reports another device, which did not explode, was found in a nearby garden.

Mr Guler said no-one was hurt by the rockets.

Police said one suspect was killed and another wounded in a shooting afterwards.
