Angelina Jolie is to direct Unbroken, a World War II drama, in Australia.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, filming will start on 21 October at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney and the Village Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast.
Based on the book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken is the story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian runner who spent two years as a prisoner of war after being shot down in the Pacific.
The BBC reports the film will be the second directed by Jolie. Previously she made Land of Blood and Honey in 2011.
