A man has died after being struck by lightning near Fraser Island, north of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Authorities say he was struck while standing on the beach at Inskip Point just after 6pm, the ABC reports.
An 11-year-old who was with the man was taken to Gympie Hospital with minor injuries.
