The Rolling Stones have cancelled their first Australasian concert following the death of American fashion designer L'Wren Scott, the girlfriend of frontman Sir Mick Jagger.

A spokesperson for Sir Mick said the 70-year-old singer is shocked and devastated by the death, which New York police are treating as a suicide.
The 49-year-old was found in her Manhattan flat on Monday and had been with Sir Mick since 2001.
The Rolling Stones were to kick off the six concert Australia and New Zealand leg of their world tour 14 On Fire on Wednesday, but promoters Frontier Touring said the Perth show would not go ahead and no information on the rest of the tour is available. The two-week tour had five stops in Australia before finishing in Auckland on 5 April.
Born Luann Bambrough and adopted and raised by a Mormon family in Utah, L'Wren Scott worked as a model before she created her own fashion label in 2006.
A-list actresses were part of her celebrity clientele and included Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey and America's First Lady Michelle Obama.
Ms Scott's death comes a month after she cancelled a show at London Fashion Week, saying production delays had left key pieces unready for the show. Her company was reported to owe creditors $US7.6 million and to have assets of $US1.7 million.
