Foreign agencies linked to Kabul attack

Afghan officials say a recent attack on a Kabul hotel that left nine civilians dead was planned by foreign intelligence services.

Correspondents say the statement is seen as a veiled reference to Pakistan's spy agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

The Afghan National Security Council also claims a Pakistani diplomat was seen taking pictures in the hotel before the attack, which the Taliban claimed responsibility for.
