Nine days after the floods in Solomon Islands, 50,000 to 60,000 people are still homeless - many without shelter and fresh water.

At least 23 people were killed and another 30 are still missing.

Save the Children emergencies manager Graham Kenna said the scale of the disaster is terrible.

He said half the population on the main island of Guadalcanal has been affected - by losing family members, houses, crops or businesses.
