Joel Burger and Ashley King, a young Illinois couple, have made headlines around the world after their 'Burger-King' engagement announcement caught the eye of the company, who have since offered to pay for the couple's wedding.

The photo announcing their engagement showed the couple in front of their local Burger King outlet.
Local Illinois paper the State Journal-Register reports that the couple have been known as Burger-King since they were at primary school together, in New Berlin, near Springfield.
"When we heard about the happy, Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage," Eric Hirschhorn, a Burger King spokesman, told the Register.
The company will be paying the wedding expenses, as well as providing personalised Burger King crowns, gift bags, and party favours.
