Cold case inquiry moves to NZ

8:03 pm on 31 July 2008

New South Wales police investigating the disappearance of a Sydney teenager 30 years ago will arrive in New Zealand on Thursday.

Trudie Adams, 18, was last seen in 1978 and police believe she was kidnapped and killed by two men they describe as "sexual predators".

Detective Superintendent Geoff Beresford says police have identified a "person of interest" who is now living in New Zealand.

A reward of $A250,000 has been posted by the New South Wales state government for information which might help solve the case.
