Firefighters in the US state of Ohio have rescued a woman who telephoned the emergency line in terror, saying she had a boa constrictor stuck to her face.
The 1.6 metre boa constrictor had locked its jaws on the woman's face, and a fireman had to cut off the snake's head to release her.
The woman, who was not named, had 11 snakes in her home when she called emergency services.
She told emergency services that she had rescued the snake, the day before.
Emergency services had to cut the boa constrictor's head off to free the woman.
The 45-year-old was treated at hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
