An increasing number of women - including A-list actresses such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Mira Sorvino and Cara Delevigne - have been coming forward with allegations of harassment, sexual assault and even rape.

Weinstein has denied the allegations, saying any sexual encounters were consensual.

But New Zealand model Zoe Brock - who says she was chased by a naked Weinstein into a bathroom 20 years ago after refusing to give him a massage - strongly disputes that.

"Say that to my face, Harvey ... I would happily stand in a court room and testify," she told the BBC.

Ms Brock said she went to Weinstein's hotel suite with a group of people, who left one by one, leaving her alone with the producer.

"I just froze," she said.

"He said he wanted a massage ... and he asked if he could give me a massage... I didn't know what to do and I felt that letting him maybe touch me a little bit might placate him enough to get me out of there.

"So I let him put his hand on my shoulder and I really quickly knew that I was not going to be able to handle any of that and I got up and bolted into the bathroom."

Weinstein banged on the door of the bathroom while she "scolded" him to put on his clothes, she said.

"He promised eventually to put some clothes on and leave me alone."

The American Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will hold an emergency meeting in Los Angeles to consider Weinstein's future with the organisation.
