State television in Syria says US helicopters have attacked a Syrian border point with Iraq.
The state news agency SANA said on Sunday the attack took place in eastern Syria at the main crossing point into Iraq from Syria.
Both the Pentagon and the US military in Baghdad say they have no information about the claim.
The US and the Iraqi governments blame Syria for not doing enough to stop infiltration by al Qaeda over the Iraqi-Syrian border.
