There have been a number of fatal shootings in India's financial hub of Mumbai.
Railway police commissioner A.K. Sharma told local television on Wednesday that there appeared to be a terrorist attack. He said "many places" were "under siege by gunmen."
At least two people were killed and 10 people were reported to be wounded after shots were fired near the main railway station.
Shootings have been reported in other parts of the city as well, near the Oberoi and Taj Mahal hotels.
