United States President, Barack Obama, and President Dmitry Medvedev of Russia, have marked a warming in relations between their countries, during their first meeting at the White House.
Following talks in Washington, they shared a lunch consisting of a hamburger and chips in Virginia before driving back to the White House together.
Mr Obama described Mr Medvedev as a solid and reliable partner despite some policy differences.
Russia has agreed to buy 50 Boeing aircraft, a move that will create thousands of jobs in the United States.
