An Air France airliner flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris has landed in the northeastern Brazilian city of Recife, following a security alert over a possible bomb on board.
The airline says the 405 passengers and 18 crew on board were evacuated while security checks were carried out on the Boeing 747-400.
An Air France jet crashed just over a year ago off Brazil's northeastern coast, killing all 228 people on board.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
