CNN reports President Barack Obama will sign a $US787 billion economic stimulus bill on Tuesday in Denver.
The Senate voted 60-38 for the bill on Friday. Earlier the House of Representatives passed it by 246-183.
No Republicans voted in support of the bill.
Mr Obama on Saturday hailed the passing of the bill as a "major milestone on our road to recovery" and vowed to move swiftly to set the plan in motion.
