The Federal Bureau of Investigation says 48 minors have been taken from child prostitution rings in a series of raids across the United States.
The bureau said on Monday that 571 people were arrested on charges of trafficking children for prostitution and solicitation as a result of Operation Cross Country III.
Raids were carried out in 29 cities over a three-day period by the FBI and local law enforcement agencies.
