Freedom of the city awarded to Bobby Charlton

Sir Bobby Charlton has been honoured with the freedom of the city of Manchester.

Sir Bobby, 71, played for Manchester United for 17 years from the age of 15.

His name has been added to a wall of fame that includes Sir Winston Chrurchill, US President Woodrow Wilson and current M/U manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
