A United Nations conference in Geneva on racism has adopted a final declaration against racism, xenophobia and intolerance.
It was issued a day after an anti-Israel speech by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran triggered a walkout by 23 countries. He called Israel's government a "repressive, racist regime".
Delegates say the speech strengthened their resolve to adopt the declaration as soon as possible, so it was brought forward by several days.
