Chelsea win FA Cup

Chelsea won the FA Cup, beating Everton 2-1 at Wembley on Saturday.

Everton rocked Chelsea with a goal by Louis Sapha 25 seconds into the match - the fastest goal in Cup final history.

However, Chelsea equalised after 25 minutes and dominated for the rest of the game. The half-time score was 1-1.

The match was played in 40 degree temperatures.

Chelsea has now won the trophy five times. Previous wins were in 2007, 2000, 1997 and 1970.

Other title matches

In Berlin, the German Cup final was won by Werder Bremen, 1-0, over Bayer Leverkusen at the Olympic stadium.

Bremen have now won the trophy six times. However, Bayern Munich have done so 14 times.

The win means Bremen will play in the Europa League next season. This is the successor to the UEFA Cup.

In Istanbul, the Turkish league title was won by Besiktas for the 11th time on Saturday, 2-1, over Denizlispor.

It was their first championship since 2003. Besiktas also won the Turkish Cup.
