The ABC reports she was at a dinner party when the discussion turned to 'planking', where someone lies flat on their stomach in an unusual and sometimes dangerous situation and has their photograph posted on social networking websites.
According to a friend, the woman who is believed to be in her 40s, fell off the wall while trying to demonstrate why it is a silly trend.
A man in his 20s died recently from 'planking' after falling from a seventh floor balcony in Brisbane.
