NZ man accused of smuggling steroids in underwear

A New Zealand man has been charged with smuggling prohibited goods in Australia.

The ABC reports that the 23 year old was caught with steroids at Melbourne International Airport on Friday.

Customs and Border patrol officers stopped him for questioning when he arrived from Bangkok.

A search uncovered 7000 tablets believed to be Dianabol in the man's underwear, as well as 100 tablets marked as Trenbolone Acetate and a bottle marked Finexol.

The man will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
