The American actress Brittany Murphy, who starred in such films as Clueless, 8 Mile, Just Married, and Girl, Interrupted has died of an apparent heart attack at the age of 32.
A spokesperson at the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office says it has been informed of her death by officials at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but has no other information.
The Los Angeles Times reports that Ms Murphy was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai after going into cardiac arrest.
Murphy was married to British screenwriter Simon Monjack and lived in Los Angeles.
