Police in Australia have laid two more murder charges against a man accused of lighting the nursing home fire in November that killed 11 people.

Roger Dean, a 35-year-old nurse who was working at the home, is now charged with 10 counts of murder, the ABC reports.

Police say they are still examining complex medical evidence regarding the 11th victim.

Three residents were killed in their beds during the fire in the suburb of Quakers Hill and the others died in hospital in the following weeks.
