President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez says he is to have further surgery after Cuban doctors detected a new lesion in an area where he had a cancerous tumour removed last year.
Mr Chavez says there is a high probability the lesion is malign, and it will be removed in the coming days.
The left-wing leader is standing for re-election in October.
