Jimmy Choo goes rural

1:50 pm on 13 March 2009

Rural fashionistas take note: the Jimmy Choo shoe range is no longer reserved for fast-talking, fast-living, neurotic "Sex and the City" types.

UK gumboot makers Hunters have announced a collaboration with the luxury "Choo" brand.

Hunters says its "legendary" silhouette has been embossed with a signature crocodile pattern used by Jimmy Choo, and will include a leopard print lining to boot.

Although it's not known how much the special edition gumboots will cost, Hunters normally sell for about $NZ180.

A waiting list for the gumboot opens early in May.
