Campaign: Auckland (Part 2)

From Campaign: Auckland 2016, 4:00 pm on 16 September 2016

Campaign: Auckland 2016 is a weekly series in which Todd Niall takes you behind the scenes of the Auckland mayoral race.

Voting papers are in the mail capping a week in which candidate Mark Thomas stopped campaigning to win - and started campaigning to stop Phil Goff winning.

Todd meets Vic Crone and asks what is she up to when she cancels up to half a dozen public meetings?

He meets two candidates who don’t think they’re getting a fair shake of the mainstream media stick – and have been critical of RNZ in this regard - Chloe Swarbrick and Penny Bright.

And talks to Derek Handley who's funding a poll on the election for The Spinoff website - he says Ms Crone's refusal to be drawn on the cause of climate change is worrying.
