Yosef Livne part two

A few weeks ago the United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki Moon, strongly condemned the stabbbings, vehicle attacks and shootings by some Palestinians on Israeli civilians. Mr Ban called for the full force of the law to be brought down on the perpetrators. But he did go on to say that " Security measures alone won't stop the violence or address the profound sense of alienation and despair driving some Palestinians." Hanan Ashrawi of the Palestinian Authority made no such condemnation of the attacks.. but she did basically back what Mr Ban said. In this second part of John Greaves' conversation with the Israeli Ambassador to New Zealand, he asked Yosef Livne for his response to those comments.
