An EgyptAir flight that crashed in the Mediterranean did not swerve as previously reported, an Egyptian official says.

Egypt has deployed a submarine to hunt for the black-box flight recorders of the EgyptAir plane that crashed on Thursday.

While it is too soon to say why the EgyptAir plane disappeared off the radar, a terrorist attack is more likely than technical issues, Egypt's Aviation Minister says.
