There are reports from Solomon Islands that another two civilians attached to a police team pursuing rebel leader Harold Keke on the Weather Coast of Guadalcanal were killed during clashes earlier this week.
Police earlier confirmed one death when a canoe delivering supplies to police was attacked on Sunday.
The next day two more died in battles at Biti village, much of which was burned to the ground by Keke's supporters last month.
Meanwhile, the police launch last night carried police reinforcements to the Weather Coast.
