Fifty six reservists from American Samoa who are part of the 793rd Engineering detachment will be heading to the war zone in Iraq in the next two weeks.
There are already more than 40 members of the engineering detachment from American Samoa now in Iraq.
Nearly 200 combat reservists from the territory are also in training at Fort Bliss in Texas and will be deployed to Iraq early next year.
