Managers of the Sugarcane Growers Fund in Fiji are inviting cane farmers who need financial help to apply to it for assistance.

The Sugarcane Growers Council chief executive, Jagannath Sami, says the drought in Fiji poses an extra burden for farmers and they need help.

He says farmers must know that if they need financial assistance to develop their farms or for educational expanses for their children, or any other basic needs, they should apply to the fund.
