11:17 am on 13 October 2005

All flags in Samoa will be flown at half mast on Friday in honour of slain Opposition MP Su'a Atonio Lemi.

The Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, will deliver a eulogy on behalf of the government at Su'a final funeral service.

Since Su'a body arrived from Auckland on Monday, police have provided an escort for the funeral cortege, an honour which has previously only been accorded by the government for cabinet ministers and members of the council of deputies.
