A newspaper in the Cook Islands is questioning whether coup-hit and unstable Fiji should continue to host key regional organisations such as the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and University of the South Pacific.
The Cook Islands Herald also asks whether international funders and development partners should continue to pour money into strengthening regional resources in Fiji.
The newspaper says Fiji's future is gloomy under an increasingly intimidatory military dictatorship.
