The Federated States of Micronesia has elected a new president.
Emanual Mori was chosen during the opening session of the FSM congress in Pohnpei.
Mr Mori, who is from the State of Chuuk, is the country's seventh president and replaces Joseph Urusemal.
The government's media service says the FSM's new vice president is Alik L. Alik from the State of Kosrae.
After their election, the Congress went into recess untill Tuesday.
