Misprints cause raffle confusion in American Samoa

The American Samoa National Olympic Committee's Mother's Day Surprise lottery had a surprise of its own.

The draw for the raffle, which has a car as the prize, has been pushed back to the end of May, due to a misprint in the ticket numbers.

The draw was originally due to be held yesterday.

The lottery is aimed at raising funds to pay for American Samoa's trip to the South Pacific Games in August.

The Samoa News says the tickets began selling in April and organisers were now trying to trace the tickets that might have been duplicated.
