The Fiji interim sugar minister says the sugar industry will not rely solely on funding from the European Union.
Fiji times reports Mahendra Chaudhry is saying if the funds from the EU are delayed, the interim government would have to look elsewhere for assistance, including turning to financial institutions.
He says they would not be tied down to a timeline.
