Samoa's deputy prime minister and minister for tourism, Misa Telefoni, says there are more than enough hotel rooms for visitors to the country.
Misa Telefoni had been responding to reports that accommodation was full because of the South Pacific Games due to begin this weekend.
Misa says there are more than 200 extra hotel rooms available.
He has also dismissed reports of a sudden increase in accommodation prices because of the games.
