Air New Zealand says it's continuing talks and is seeking input from Pacific governments about its review of routes..

The airline announced earlier it's reviewing its network due to declining market and economic conditions.

It currently operates one return service a week Rarotonga-Los Angeles, and one return service a week Tonga-Apia-Los Angeles.

It says it's in dialogue with its partners in the Cook Islands, Samoa and Tonga about the declining performance of these services.

It adds it's been open and transparent, and is seeking advice and input about the operation.
