French air crash investigators have released their final findings into last year's Air Moorea crash in French Polynesia which claimed 20 lives.

They have confirmed their preliminary report which suggested that the steering cables in the Twin Otter had ruptured.

The plane plunged into the sea shortly after take-off from Moorea on a flight to Tahiti.

It noted that the pilot tried to regain control of the plane but it nosedived and smashed onto the water.
