The American Samoa government boat, the MV Sili, will be out of service again after an electronic piece of equipment broke over the weekend.

The equipment is used to monitor the posiiton of the boat's rudder and is vital for docking.

The boat was last out of commission for three weeks in October.

The port administration estimates it will take more than a week to acquire a replacement.
