Lawyer Fred Amoa has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Samoa Rugby Union.
Mr Amoa was selected from an interview list of eight, which included three female applicants.
The new CEO replaces Su'a Peter Schuster, who has held the CEO's job since 2007.
Mr Amoa had worked for the Attorney General's Office in Samoa before he took up a legal post with the Forum Fisheries Organization in Solomon Islands.
