In the Northern Marianas, it's been confirmed the United States Marines will hold a military exercise on Tinian later in the year following last year's successful Forager Fury I exercise.
At least 358 Marines will be in the CNMI for Exercise Forager Fury II in November and December.
Our correspondent says the military also assured the exercises would be coordinated in such a way that tourists, as well as locals, will not be inhibited from visiting the Atomic Bomb Loading Pits and other historic sites on Tinian's North Field National Historic Landmark.
