In the Northern Marianas, Dynamic Airways inaugural flight to Saipan is another indicator that the islands' tourism industry is once again thriving following years of decline.
The Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Perry Tenorio says Dynamic Airways' service will add another 26,000 annual seats out of the Korean market.
These new flights alone will ensure continuous strong growth out of the Korea market for the coming year.
The carrier joins the CNMI's signatory airlines Delta and Asiana airlines, which serve the Japan and Korea markets, respectively.
Arrivals from Korea soared 23 percent in September to 10,848 visitors, more than any other source market.
