The Minister of Immigration Timoci Natuva told FBC News there must have been reasons for certain people being blacklisted so they will be reviewed.

Mr Natuva says if the ban has to be lifted then it will be.

The broadcaster reports the former Australian High Commissioner James Batley arrived in Fiji earlier this month but was told to leave due to being persona non grata.

He was expelled in 2009.

Some former newspaper publishers, a former diplomat, three overseas journalists and a former senior member of the judiciary are among those on the immigration blacklist according to FBC.
