The Papua New Guinea Hunters have been thrashed 36-18 by Wynnum Manly Seagulls to slump to back to back defeats for the first time this season.

Israel Eliab, Esau Siune, Brandy Peter crossed for the Hunters in a result that drops them to seventh in the Queensland Cup standings, with three wins and three losses.

After two weeks on the road, Michael Marum's team are back in Kokopo this Sunday, against the third-placed Mackay Cutters.
