Fiji rugby world cup squad all but decided

11:38 am on 7 August 2015

Flying Fijians coach John McKee says his Rugby World Cup squad is all but decided with six weeks to go until their opening match against England.

Fiji won the Pacific Nations Cup earlier this week, holding off traditional rivals Samoa in the final in Canada, to complete an unbeaten run.

The team now has a week off at home before reassembling in camp.

John McKee says apart from the return of Nemani Nadolo he doesn't anticipate much upheaval come the final selection.

"Making the changes each week we've looked at a number of different combinations and I'm quite happy with the depth we have in our squad. There's a couple of tough selections to make but I think on the back of this [Pacific Nations Cup] tournament we're fairly settled on the final 31. We'll get back to Fiji, we will have a weeks break and then we will come into camp [and] subject to our final fitness and medical screenings we'll finalise our 31 man squad".
