The telecommunications company, Digicel, is planning to get into the hotel business in Samoa.
Digicel Samoa's Chief Executive Officer, Rory Condon has told the Samoa Observer the company wishes to make the most of Samoa's beauty.
He said he has been working on a plan for a couple of years and the company expects to have more concrete details by the middle of next year.
Mr Condon said Digicel will work closely with the Samoa Tourism Authority and government ministries to support the plan for a development in Apia.
