The Fiji Government believes a rebranding of Rewa Rice Ltd to Fiji Rice Ltd will help it reach new customers locally and internationally.
The Minister for Industry, Trade, Tourism, Lands and Mineral Resources, Faiyaz Koya, said it was part of government plans to build a strong Brand Fiji across all state entities, particularly commercial enterprises.

He said Fiji Rice now joined bigger companies and organisations such as Fiji Airways, Investment Fiji, Tourism Fiji and Film Fiji.
The minister said it was the culmination of a number of improvements the company had recently made to enhance its services.
