Reports from French Polynesia say a bid to set up a new domestic airline will be raised in court this week.

La Depeche de Tahiti reported the New Caledonia-based businessman behind the project wants a ruling on last year's application to create the airline Island.
According to the report, Bill Ravel has waited for a year but received neither an outright rejection nor an explanation.
Mr Ravel, who founded Air Calin, is reportedly planning to get two Embraer aircraft and fly to the territory's five archipelagos.
Last year, he said he expected to undercut Air Tahiti's domestic fares by 15 to 20 percent.
Tahiti's international links have meanwhile been expanded this year with the arrival of the French carrier French Bee.
Later this month, United Airlines will begin flying from San Francisco to Tahiti.
