The National Federation Party and SODELPA are jointly challenging the results via legal petition.

The FBC reports the Court of Disputed Returns has given subjects of the petition until Wednesday 3pm local time to file their response and any other affidavits.

Government MPs were in court this morning including Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama and the Minister for Defense Inia Seruiratu who have just returned from overseas.

The matter has been adjourned until 20 December.
